Empowering Kids: Energy Choices for Tomorrow brings together middle school students from six diverse school districts to investigate and explore the evolving and expanding technologies of renewable/sustainable energy sources as they apply to STEM. Partnerships with the University of Connecticut and industry leader, Proton On-Site, will help acquaint staff and students with the complexities of the multi-faceted global energy crisis and demonstrate the relevance of this crisis to them, their families, and their communities.
